Garett Bolles is an American football player who plays in the National Football League (NFL) for the Denver Broncos as an offensive tackle. He made the NFL Draft in 2017 after having a great career in high school and college. Before becoming a footballer, Bolles’ life was heading to the bottom, forcing his father to throw him out of the house. Somehow he came to get things and build himself in a meaningful way.

Biography of Garett Bolles

Garett Bolles was born in Walnut Creek, California on May 27, 1992. It was there that he was raised until his family moved to Lehi, Utah. For his education, the Broncos man went to Westlake High School where he played football, something he has been playing since he was just a kid.

Two months after graduating from high school, then 19, he found himself homeless after his father kicked him out because of the trouble he always caused. Described as a wayward child, he was into a lot, including vandalism and alcoholism which police knew from his first name.

Before too long things got out of hand for his father who at the time was estranged from Garett’s mother and had to take care of his younger ones so he threw him out of the house with his things in a plastic garbage bag. Luckily for him, Greg Freeman who coached him when he was in seventh grade saw him and called his wife Emily Freeman to ask if he could take the kid home. With 4 of them, the couple agreed to bring him over.

This was all in 2011 and it started the change for him. He attempted an LDS mission but was only given up after 10 months. Then he went to Snow College where he played for a few years during which he won the WSFL Championship and the Salt City Bowl. He then moved to the University of Utah where he again proved himself and was even named to the All-Pac-12 conference first team during the only season he spent with the college before entering the 2017 NFL Draft.

Considered the best offensive tackle in the draft, Garett Bolles was selected by the Denver Broncos as the 20th overall pick. In his first season, he was on the PFWA rookie team.

After being drafted, he received a deal that was worth more than $11 million over four years. More so, the contract came with a guarantee of $8.59 million and also a signing bonus of $6.16 million. Prior to his arrival, only four times in history since 1968 has a rookie been thrown every game after starting in all 16 games at left tackle.

His family, wife/girlfriend

Apart from his first family, Garett Bolles also refers to Freeman’s family as his family for taking him in and helping him become who he is. Her biological father was a Navy veteran.

If you’re wondering, the Broncos man doesn’t have a girlfriend because he’s married to Natalie Bolles, who he’s repeatedly described as his greatest blessing. Without many details on how they met, it is known that they had been together for a few years before finally getting married in December 2015.

Her union was blessed with a son, Kingston Bolles. In 2018, he announced on his Twitter that he and his wife were expecting their second child together, a girl who would be born in March 2019.

Apart from his Christian faith which he holds very close and considers one of the things that helped him find his way back, the giant NFL star considers his family the most important thing in his life, and he still takes to social media to share her photos.
