Eugenio Francisco Reyes Morandé is a Chilean actor, born on July 6, 1954, in Santiago, Chile. Son of the politician Carlos Reyes, Francisco began studying architecture at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, before venturing out to take a theater workshop, taught by Fernando González Mardones, which reaffirmed his interest and love for acting. . Shortly thereafter, he made his theater debut with the play Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny , a story considered dangerous to perform at the time of the military dictatorship; which led him to spend some time in Paris, France, where he stayed for a few years.
