Eve Jihan Jeffers-Cooper was born on November 10, 1978 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her father, Jerry Jeffers, was a chemical plant executive at the time, while her mother, Julie Wilcher, was a medical publishing executive. She graduated from Martin Luther King High School in Philadelphia.
Eva started out as a singer when she was a child and was part of a group known as the D Ope Girl Posse . However, she switched to her true calling, rap, at just 13 she took the name Eve of Destruction and formed a rap duo with Jennifer Purdue, a childhood friend known as EDjp (a combination of both names and pronounced as Egypt). The duo toured many youth circles and even managed to have their own album.
After graduating from high school, Eve focused on her music career as she tried to land a record deal. Her hard work finally paid off when Dr. Dre signed her to his Aftermath label in 1996 when he was just 18 years old. However, Eve’s time with Aftermath was short-lived as she was dropped just 8 months after joining the label. She moved home where she met rapper DMX, who introduced her to Ruff Ryders Records. With Ruff Ryders, the Philadelphia native released her first single What You Want That was part of a Ruff Ryders compilation album. The single was successful and she received offers of collaboration from other artists, including The Roots and Janet Jackson.
Aside from her music, Eve is also an accomplished actress and has an enviable acting record. This includes Vin Diesel’s 2002 action film, XXX , as well as all three installments of the popular comedy franchise Barber. Others include The Lumberjack ( 2004), The Cookout (2004) and Flashbacks of a Fool (2008). Eve is married to British millionaire and founder of the annual Gumball 3000 rally Maximillion Cooper. The couple met in 2010 while competing in the annual Gumball 3000 race (the race is made up of famous people and charities).
They were together for three years before getting engaged on Christmas Day 2013. The cute couple tied the knot on June 14, 2014 in a lavish beachside ceremony at Blue Marlin, Cala Jondal beach in Ibiza, Spain. They don’t have children yet, but Eva is a loving stepmother to Cooper’s four children from a previous marriage.

1. She has two dog paws visibly tattooed on either side of her cleavage. She got the tattoo after a friend dared her.
2. Her distinctive blonde hair was also a challenge from a friend. She had cut her hair short and a friend dared her to bleach it blonde. Despite her mother’s possible anger, she did.
3. She was a stripper a short time after high school. According to her, at that time she was confused and dealing with some personal problems.
4. Her father left the family when she was just 12 years old. However, she has reconnected with him after 25 years and is working towards forgiveness.
