BIOGRAPHY
Studying drama at school, British Emily Blunt stood out from a very young age. She quickly took to the stage, where she shined in her multiple interpretations, before being offered several roles on television, in series and low-budget films ( Henry VIII , Boudica ). It was in 2005 that the young actress moved from the small to the big screen. She thus arrives at the head of the drama My Summer of Love , in which she lives a homosexual story in the English provinces. Staying away from any ease, Emily Blunt uses her acting talents to deliver a remarkable performance.

This first experience earned him a ticket to Hollywood and a place in the casting of the comedy The Devil Wears Prada the following year. The opportunity for the young actress to try out a completely different genre and to opposite Anne Hathaway , as well as Meryl Streep . If she is now part of the American cinematic landscape, Emily Blunt does not forget her origins and thus shares the poster of the British action comedy Little English Murders (2010) with Bill Nighyserial killer of which she plays the seductive victim. In 2011, she multiplied roles in films for young audiences, playing the Lilliputian princesses in the new version of Gulliver’s Travels and lending her voice to the terracotta heroine of Gnomeo and Juliet . The same year, she tried her hand at a science fiction film and starred opposite Matt Damon in The Agency .

An idealistic young FBI recruit drawn into cartel violence with Sicario , Emily Blunt plays the sister of the evil queen in The Huntsman and the Ice Queen and plays the lead role in the thriller The Girl on the Train . In 2018, she starred in the very lucrative horror film Quietly directed by her companion John Krasinski .
