BIOGRAPHY
Elisa Miller studied Cinematography at the Cinematographic Training Center (CCC) in Mexico City. During her student years, she won the Palme d’Or for Best Short Film for Ver llover (2006), at the 60th Cannes Film Festival, France. This film was also awarded as Best Fiction Short Film at the 4th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) and at the 50th Ariel Awards, Mexico, among others. She participated in the 8th FICM with her debut film De ella Vete másfurther, Alicia (2010), internationally premiered within the framework of the 40th Rotterdam International Film Festival (IFFR). She made the award-winning documentary About Sarah (2014), followed by the film The Pleasure is Mine (2015). In 2019 she works on Hurricane Season , which was selected to be part of the competition by the Gabriel Figueroa Film Fund (GFFF) 2019 promoted by the Los Cabos International Film Festival.
