Cindy Millican is an American actress and dancer choreographer popularly known as the wife of legendary musician and Eagles band co-founder Glenn Frey. She was widowed with the unfortunate death of her husband who died of complications from ulcerative colitis, rheumatoid arthritis and pneumonia in 2016. She currently lives alone with her children.

Millican began her career as a dancer and choreographer. She was finally given the green light to appear in the 1987 film The Running Man as a dancer. The film is a science fiction film in which Arnold Schwarzenegger plays Ben Richards. Directed by Paul Michael Glaser, it is based on Stephen King’s 1982 novel of the same name.

Cindy has a disease called lupus – a systemic autoimmune disease that occurs when the body’s immune system begins to attack its own tissues and organs. Lupus can affect many different body systems, including the joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, brain, heart, and lungs. Since then, she has been involved in raising awareness of the disease as well as helping people who suffer from it. She also raised funds, along with her husband, Glenn for the Lupus LA charity, founded by her doctor, Dr. Daniel Wallace.

In partnership with fashion designer, Donna Karan, she has organized several events and shows in Los Angeles to raise funds for Lupus LA. Her husband, Glenn, also performs benefit concerts for the charity.

Cindy Millican tied the knot with GlennFrey in 1990. They first met on one of Glenn Frey’s video shoots when she was a dance choreographer at the time. Cindy and Glenn started dating soon after and it seemed like their love was meant to last forever. Then in 2016, tragedy struck at the heart of the romance that had produced 3 children – Taylor, Deacon and Otis until then.

The sad day came on January 18, 2016, when GlennFrey lost the battle against rheumatoid arthritis, acute ulcerative colitis and pneumonia which he had suffered from for a few months before finally giving up the fight. The famous American musician died at the age of 67 and left his family, especially his wife, devastated.

Since the death of her husband, Cindy Millican has remained a single mother of three children. She has not yet been with other men or participated in any romantic relationship.

Frey was the lead singer of the Eagles and played guitar and keyboards for the rock band. He met Don Henley in 1970. Henley was a drummer and they were signed to the same label, Amos Records at the time. But then they decided to form their own band while on tour, and they were joined by Meisner and Leadon. So while Henley played drums and he (Frey) played guitar and keyboards, Meisner played bass and Leadon was good on a variety of instruments including guitar, banjo, guitar in steel, the mandolin and the dobro. This is how the rock band Eagles was formed. The band went on to become one of the world’s best-selling bands of all time, winning several awards together, including six Grammy Awards

In May 2012, Frey, alongside three of the band’s current members – Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy Schmit, received an honorary Doctor of Music degree from Berklee College of Music.
