The story of how Chad Gable put on his unforgettable ring name is quite interesting. Since he began his journey in the wrestling world, he has proven to be a much bigger force than many initially thought.

The wrestler first tasted small-scale fame as an amateur wrestler in 2012 at the Summer Olympics in London, where he competed and impressed many people. Building on the success of his performance at the Olympics, Chad showed interest and was accepted into WWE in late 2013, after which he was put through some serious training. The wrestler was then assigned to WWE’s professional wrestling television program, WWE NXT, popularly known as NXT, and then to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, where he chose the ring name Chad Gable.

Upon his arrival into the world, he was named Charles Bett by his parents but he adopted the names of Chas Bett and Chad Gable as his ring names after he took the wrestling world by storm. The wrestler is of American nationality but his ethnic origin is not known to the public.

Also, he is yet to reveal if he has any siblings, their names, where he spent his early childhood, where he went to high school and other personal details. However, we can establish that Chad Gable graduated from Northern Michigan University, but the course he studied and the year he graduated are hard to find. Currently, he earns $200,000 from his career while his net worth is estimated at $1.5 million.

Gable on September 5, 2014 made his debut at a show held at an NXT house in Cocoa Beach, Florida and won against American wrestler Troy McClain. The wrestler made his first television appearance on the January 8, 2015 episode of NXT, but sadly, he was beaten by Canadian professional wrestler Mattias Clement, known as Tyler Breeze.

The American wrestler started a new chapter in his career in mid-2015 when he teamed up with Jason Jordan. As teammates, the two won numerous fights, including their debut (which took place on the July 15 episode of NXT) against the duo – Steve Cutler and Elias Samson. Other teams that Gable and Jordan have edged out include Neville and Solomon Crowe, the Hype Bros, The Ascension and The Vaudevillains. The two officially adopted the name American Alpha at the NXT tapings on January 8 and eventually won the NXT Tag Team Championship at NXT TakeOver: Dallas. Chad and his partner were then drafted to the SmackDown brand in the 2016 WWE Draft which took place on July 19. They debuted on the August 2 episode of SmackDown, beating The Vaudevillains. Their hard work paid off when they finally emerged victorious in the SmackDown Tag Team Championship.

Chad Gable’s highlights in the wrestling world include the two wins with Jordan. Currently, he is performing under the Raw brand, following the 2018 Superstar Shake-up.
