Andy Mineo – Biography, Wife (Cristina Luz Delgado), Age, Sister, Family, Ethnicity

With around four projects including mixtapes and albums under his belt, it’s safe to say that Andy Mineo has set quite an impressive record for himself in his few years in the music industry.

The rapper is known to have collaborated with many renowned artists following his emergence. Director, producer, rapper and Christian minister, Mineo is part of the 116 clique, a group of Christian hip-hop artists who preach Christ to the world through their songs.

Although the numbers “116” may sound strange, it matches Romans 1:16 which reads, “I am not ashamed of the good news, for it is the power that God uses to save all who believe…”

The rapper began by independently recording and releasing his first mixtape titled: Sin is Wack in 2009. Mineo’s rapid career saw him tour extensively around the world and score numerous hits, including a handful impressive Billboard charting records.

Currently signed to Reach Records, Andy’s project with the recording is a studio album titled: Formerly Known. He was released in 2011, after which he put together a 4-episode web series titled: Saturday morning car-tune z. His other music credits include, but are not limited to, League Chumps Season 1, In My Town, Wylin from Paisano, You Can’t Stop Me, Bedtime, Never Land, and Heroes For Sale.

Formerly known as C-Lite Born, the rapper was previously signed to record labels Trace Music Group and Marshall Street before his move to Reach Records.

Biography, Age, Ethnicity of Andy Mineo

The American rapper’s full name is Andrew Aaron Mineo. He was born in Syracuse, New York on April 17, 1988. He was raised in a single parent home and later attended Henninger High School, located in upstate New York. While in college, he was a member of the band Fat Camp, which was then affiliated with Marshall Street Records at Syracuse University.

After working as a producer at Henninger, AndyMineo then moved to New York, where he dedicated his life to Christ and decided to close his production studio in order to start a new life.

Andy was first led to salvation at a Christian camp where he was converted with the help of his sister, who was a counselor at the camp. However, he found his ways after leaving camp for high school, where he had no Christian support.

The rapper is a graduate of the City College of NewYork (CCNY), which also serves as a hangout with Chris Leonard, who would later become his musical partner. The duo recorded their first song in 2001 and have been inseparable ever since.
Although Mineo is a Christian rapper, he doesn’t really like being called a Christian rapper. The New York-based rapper said he thinks the identity of the “Christian rapper” will rub off on some people.

His family: Wife (Cristina Luz Delgado) & Sister

Andy Mineo has been married since August 23, 2014, when he said “I do” to his sweetheart Christina Delgado. Ahead of their beautiful nuptials, the couple got engaged in April 2014, after which they took the big love step three months later. Currently, the rapper resides in Washington Heights with his lovely wife.

As of now, the music director has yet to share more information about his personal life and family with the public, which makes it difficult to say more about his personality. After their marriage in 2014, it is not known whether they have children or not, but we can confirm that Andy and Cristina are in love with each other. They also have a cordial relationship with pastors Rich Perez and Alex Medina, who are Mineo’s mentors and musical partners.

Mineo’s sister is called Grace Mineo. She was born deaf and is very passionate about her brother’s career. Recently, Andy composed a wonderful song which he dedicated to Grace. In the music video for the song titled Heart My Heart, the rapper expressed his guilt that not learning sign language, which he said would have made communication between him and his sister easier. His song, however, featured sign language that he incorporated in honor of deaf people.
