BIOGRAPHY
Amy Manson was born in Scotland. She grew up in Aberdeenshire before moving to London with her family at the age of 7.

The future actress developed a passion for theater and comedy very early on; She therefore decided as a teenager to take lessons and followed the course at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London. After her studies, the beautiful Amy landed a first role in the cinema in 2007 in the low-budget horror film, Pumpkinhead: The Sacrifices where she played opposite Lance Henriksen .

The following year, Amy continued her exploration of the horror genre by becoming a student of Professor F. Murray Abraham in Blood Monkey , the story of six American students tasked with studying the behavior of monkeys in the African jungle. The young woman, however, came out of the shadows in 2008 thanks to her role as Alice Gruppy in Torchwood , the series derived from Dr Who .

The actress subsequently appeared in various popular British series such as Doctors , Desperate Romantics , Casualty , Being Human and Misfits , gradually building a substantial filmography and gaining notoriety. Her roles as Abby in Casualty or Daisy in Being Human were particularly noted and allowed Amy to find a good place in the world of British television.

In 2014, the Scot joined the cast of the series Atlantis telling the legend of the mythical city of Atlantis. She plays the role of Medea. The following year, Amy remained in the world of tales and legends by becoming the incarnation of Princess Merida in Once Upon A Time .
