BIOGRAPHY
The fourth in a family of seven children, Amy Adams spent her early years in Vicenza, Italy before moving to the United States, in Castle Rock, Colorado. After her parents’ divorce, she followed her mother to Atlanta where she studied dance (her primary ambition was to be a ballerina) and took on different jobs. Spotted by a theater manager, Amy Adams then worked at Chanhassen Dinner Theaters in Minnesota.

In 1999, she landed her first film role in the comedy Belles à mort . Convinced by Kirstie Alley , her partner on this film, she leaves to try her luck in Hollywood.
