Vanderham made her Sky TV debut as Cathy Connor in the six-part crime drama The Runaway, based on the novel of the same name by Martina Cole. She also appeared in the BBC One biographical drama Young James Herriot.
Vanderham played Denise Lovett in Bill Gallagher’s BBC television series “The Paradise”, which was greatly influenced by Émile Zola’s Au Bonheur des Dames. She made her acting debut in the film “What Maisie Knew”, starring Julianne Moore and Margo, played by Alexander Skarsgard.
