Ex Adamawa Governor Bindow Returns To APC After Dumping ADC

Former Adamawa State Governor Mohammed Bindow has rejoined the All Progressives Congress (APC) after leaving the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Naija News reports that Bindow completed his re-registration as an APC member in his ward in Mubi, Adamawa State, where he was received by party leaders, supporters, political associates, friends, family members and other well-wishers.

The exercise was witnessed by the Mubi APC Chairman, Alhaji Ahmadu Guruja, as well as a large number of party supporters who gathered to welcome the former governor back into the APC.

Bindow said his decision to return to the APC came after consultations with several political associates and people close to him.

He said the move was also based on his belief in party discipline and his opposition to actions that could weaken a political party from within.

The former governor also disclosed that he consulted Vice President Kashim Shettima, whom he described as his brother and a close political associate, before reaching a final decision on his political future.

Bindow also referred to his recent meeting with President Bola Tinubu, saying the discussion was friendly and left a positive impression.

According to him, the President was pleased with his decision to return to the APC.
