President Tinubu Is Not The Owner Of Oando – Wale Tinubu (Video)

The Group Chief Executive Officer of Oando PLC, Wale Tinubu, has dismissed insinuations that President Bola Tinubu is the owner or financier of the company.

Speaking in a video interview shared by The Cable on Sunday, Wale clarified that the company was started long before President Tinubu ventured into politics.

Naija News reports that he explained that he started the business but was later joined by other partners.

Wale added that uninformed allegations on President Tinubu’s ownership or involvement in Ondo offend him.

“It’s a myth that President Bola Tinubu is the owner of the company in any way or form or financier in any way, shape or form of Oando Plc. It offends me to levels that are unimaginable because this company (Oando) has been built right from a time when President Tinubu was not in politics,” he said.

In other news, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Babafemi Ojudu, has criticised the composition of the party’s 108-member Presidential Campaign Council for the 2027 election.

The APC unveiled the campaign council on Saturday as the party began preparations for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid.

However, the council’s composition has sparked reactions, with questions raised over the inclusion of some individuals.

Reacting to the list in a statement shared on his Facebook page on Sunday, Ojudu expressed reservations over the backgrounds of some of those appointed to the council.

The APC chieftain noted that the list contained individuals with widely different public records, including some he described as former “sinners.”
