Talk To Your People – Oyebamiji Calls Out Adeleke Over Osun Attacks

The Osun State All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, has called on Governor Ademola Adeleke to caution his supporters against attacking residents of the state.

Naija News reports that Oyebamiji made the call after meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, where he also spoke about the political situation in Osun State following the election.

The former commissioner said violence could further worsen tensions in the state and urged political actors to prevent their supporters from taking the law into their own hands.

According to him, several people were attacked in his village on Friday morning, raising concerns over the safety of residents.

He said the incident had already been reported to security agencies for necessary action.

He said: “I want to advise the governor that it is important to talk to his people. Violence kills our people and it’s not too good. He should talk to them so that all of us will be on the same page. Even this morning, about four or five people were attacked in my village. We have informed the security operatives.”

Speaking on the outcome of the governorship election, Oyebamiji said the APC was still examining the results before deciding on its next move.

He said the party would announce its position after completing its review of the election results and considering the available options.
