Luis Enrique Hails Arsenal As World’s Best Ahead Of Champions League Final

Luis Enrique has described Arsenal as the best team in the world without the ball ahead of their Champions League showdown with Paris Saint-Germain later this month.

The Ligue 1 champions will face the newly crowned Premier League winners in Budapest on May 30 in one of the most anticipated finals in recent years.

PSG head into the game as favourites after beating Arsenal 3-1 on aggregate in last season’s semi-finals before thrashing Inter Milan 5-0 in the final to lift the trophy.

Despite his side’s recent dominance, Enrique admitted Arsenal’s balance and intensity make them one of the toughest teams in Europe.

Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday after Arsenal sealed the Premier League title, the PSG manager praised Mikel Arteta’s side for the all-around performance.

“I believe they deserve to win the league, they have had an outstanding season,” Enrique said.

“We have already faced this Arsenal team, so we are aware of their capabilities.

“Without the ball, they are the best team in the world, and with it, they can score frequently. This creates a remarkable combination for them.”

Arsenal will be aiming to win the Champions League for the first time in the club’s history, while PSG are chasing back-to-back European crowns after finally ending their long wait for the title last season.
