PSG Sweat On Ousmane Dembélé Injury Ahead Of Champions League Final With Arsenal

Concern is growing at Paris Saint-Germain after Ousmane Dembélé limped off during the final Ligue 1 match of the season against Paris FC, casting doubt over his fitness for the UEFA Champions League final against Arsenal on May 30.

The Ligue 1 champions were aiming to keep their rhythm ahead of the European showpiece, but the Paris derby quickly turned sour. Dembélé lasted less than half an hour before signalling discomfort in his thigh and leaving the pitch for medical checks.

The French winger, one of PSG’s standout performers this season, was seen clutching his leg before heading straight down the tunnel, raising immediate fears inside the stadium.

Speaking after the defeat, head coach Luis Enrique attempted to calm nerves while admitting the situation remains unclear. The France international has already been named in the national squad by Didier Deschamps for the 2026 World Cup cycle.

“I think it’s just fatigue,” Enrique said in a press conference according to Get French Football News. “What we’re saying today is just speculation, but I don’t think it’s anything serious, and there are still two weeks left.”
