CAF Confirms Fixtures, Kick-Off Times, Venues For 2026 World Cup Playoff In Morocco

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has released the full schedule, venues, and kick-off times for the 2026 FIFA World Cup African Qualifiers Inter-Continental Playoff, which will take place in Morocco from November 13 to 16, 2025.

According to details published on CAF’s official website on Tuesday, the four-team mini-tournament will be staged in Rabat, featuring Nigeria, Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), and Gabon.

The semi-final matches are set for Thursday, November 13, at two venues in the Moroccan capital: El Barid Stadium and the Prince Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex. CAF added that a draw will be held on October 30 to determine which game will be hosted at each stadium.

The first semi-final will see Nigeria face Gabon at 17:00 local time (16:00 GMT), while Cameroon will meet DRC in the second match at 20:00 local time (19:00 GMT). Both fixtures are expected to draw huge attention as the teams fight for a place in the final.

CAF confirmed that the championship match will take place on Sunday, November 16, at the Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan Stadium. Kick-off is set for 20:00 local time (19:00 GMT).

The winner of the tournament will move on to the FIFA Inter-Continental Playoff in March 2026, where they will compete for Africa’s final ticket to the expanded World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
