'PDP, APC Are Dead, Tinubu Is Performing Very Very Bad' - Kwankwaso

Salisu Yakasai, a former spokesperson to Abdullahi Ganduje, has reacted to former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso’s allegation that Lagos is trying to colonise and control other parts of the country.

Yakasai, who is also known as Dawisu, claimed that Kwankwaso is complaining about Lagos control because the situation does not serve his personal interest.

The accusation is coming after Kwankwaso accused Lagos State of trying to colonise other parts of the country.

He claimed that the State was receiving more support from the Federal Government than other states.

Kwankwaso accused Tinubu of meddling in Kano State politics.

However, speaking via his X account on Monday, Dawisu alleged that in 2014, Kwankwaso and the ‘Lagos Axis’ aligned to impose Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi on Kano people to spite the former President, Goodluck Jonathan.

He said, “It’s funny how we quickly forget history. In 2014, when Emir Ado Bayero died, this same Lagos Axis” flew into Kano, met with you as the then Gov of Kano, and lobbied for SLS to be made the Emir against the wishes of the majority of Kanawa, just to spite Jonathan (SLS wasn’t even part of the 3 contenders nominated by the Kingmakers then). You agreed to it after “the Lagos Axis” promised to support your presidential ambitions in 2019.
