Final Results For APC, PDP, LP, Others In 2024 Ondo Governorship Election
The All Progressives Congress (APC), got the highest number of votes in the 2024 Ondo governorship election according to official results declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The results were declared at the INEC headquarters in Akure on Sunday by the returning officer for the election, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi.
The All Progressives Congress (APC), represented by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, got the highest number of votes in the election, polling a total of 366,781 votes.
The closest challenger was the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), represented by former Deputy Governor Agboola Ajayi, with a total of 117,845 votes.
Labour Party (LP), represented by Olorunfemi Festus, scored 1,162, while the Zenith Labour Party candidate, Abass Mimiko, garnered 2,692 votes.
Below are the final results for the top five parties in the election.
APC: 366,781
PDP: 117,845
ADC: 4138
ZLP: 2,692
LP: 1,162
Meanwhile, the All Progressives Congress (APC) made a clean sweep of all the 20 chairmanship seats in the Ogun State Local Government election conducted on Saturday.
Naija News understands a total of 613,156 votes were cast in the chairmanship election across the 20 local government areas.
The APC also won the councillorship seats in all the 236 wards across the state.
The election result was declared by the Chairman of the Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC), Babatunde Osibodu, at the Commission’s headquarters in Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta.
