#OndoDecides2024: Interior Minister, Tunji-Ojo Casts Vote

The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has voted in the ongoing Ondo State governorship election.

Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, a member of the All Progressives Congress-led federal government, cast his vote at unit 17: Ward 3, Okeagbe Local Government Area.

He commended the peaceful process of the election and the turnout of voters. He stated that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) staff were professional.

“At exactly 11:34 AM, I cast my vote at unit 17: Ward 3, Okeagbe Local Government Area of Ondo State, in the #Ondo2024 Governorship Election. It’s been a peaceful election with officials displaying high level of professionalism coupled with an encouraging turnout of voters,” Tunji-Ojo said.

The Minister of Interior had, in a series of tweets on his X handle, called on Ondo people to vote for the candidate of the APC, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

According to him, Governor Aiyedatiwa’s victory would lead to a continuation of developmental programmes in the state.

We strongly believe that continuity in government will help us build a brighter future for all.

“Together, we’ll lead our state to prosperity. For a landslide victory at the poll, I earnestly believe that each home is a building block, as each community is our pillar of success.

“With this unalloyed support, I am confident of victory for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on November 16, 2024. And, on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR), I urge our youths to shun electoral violence, and ensure peaceful elections in our bid to birth a brighter future for our state,” he wrote on Thursday.
