Full List: Donald Trump, Kamala Harris Declared US Election Results
In a fiercely contested U.S. presidential race, former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris are in a close battle for the White House, with real-time results keeping Americans and the world on edge.
As initial tallies are reported, Trump has gained an early lead, currently holding 230 electoral votes, while Harris follows with 210. Both need at least 270 to secure victory in what is being described as one of the most pivotal elections in recent history.
Trump, who served as the 45th president from 2017 to 2021, is aiming for a return to office after his 2020 defeat to President Joe Biden. Harris, the current vice president and the Democratic nominee, is seeking to make history as the first female president.
Several battleground states, including Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, are emerging as crucial in determining the final outcome. Trump has maintained his lead in traditionally Republican states like Missouri, Alabama, West Virginia, Indiana, and Kentucky, where his support among working-class voters remains strong—roughly 8 out of 10 voters without a college degree are reportedly backing him.
Meanwhile, Harris has a significant edge among young and Black voters, particularly in Georgia, where approximately 86% of Black voters and 60% of voters under 30 have cast ballots in her favor. The economy stands out as the top concern for around 40% of voters in the state, highlighting the issues shaping this high-stakes election.
With every vote count impacting the race’s trajectory, all eyes remain on the final tallies from these key states. The race promises to be a nail-biter until the last vote is counted.
