Pep Guardiola Reveals Why He Doesn’t Use Social Media
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has shared that he does not use any social media platforms.
Pep Guardiola expressed his dislike for emails, WhatsApp, TikTok, Twitter, and Instagram, stating that he prefers to keep his phone solely for calls and messages, avoiding unnecessary distractions.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Guardiola said, “No, I don’t have WhatsApp. I don’t like emails. I don’t like WhatsApp or all that kind of stuff… so I just have a phone.
“No tiktoks, no Twitter, no Instagram, zero. My phone and messages, that’s it. I don’t want to be bothered.”
Note that Pep Guardiola has achieved significant milestones in his managerial career. Recall that he became the second manager to secure a treble in England, following in the footsteps of Sir Alex Ferguson of Manchester United who achieved it in 1999.
Additionally, he made history by clinching four consecutive Premier League titles in the 2023-2024 season.
Meanwhile, Guardiola has expressed agreement with La Liga president Javier Tebas regarding the stance that Premier League clubs are in favor of sanctioning Manchester City.
Tebas claimed that he had discussions with several Premier League clubs who believe that City should face sanctions.
Guardiola, however, urged Tebas and the Premier League teams to wait for the independent panel’s decision as City’s hearing on the 115 charges approaches.
“Maybe he’s right,” Guardiola said of Tebas.
“For the fact that all the Premier League teams want us to be sanctioned, that is for sure. I agree with Tebas for the first time, and hopefully the last. I am pretty sure I agree with that.
“That’s why I say to Mr Tebas and the Premier League teams: wait for the independent panel.”
