Meet Seven Nigerian Celebrities On Forbes 30 Under 30 List

Seven Nigerian celebrities have been named among Forbes’s 30 Under 30 newest self-made young African innovators.

Naija News reports that the 2023 thirty young African innovators’ names were published on the Forbes website.

The list contains 11 South Africans, two Rwandans, Tanzanians, and Ghanaians each, and one each from Botswana, Namibia, Cameroon, Lesotho, Mauritius, and Kenya.

Among the Nigerians on the list are award-winning singer, Temilade Openiyi, known professionally as Tems, fast-rising singer, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr, former Big Brother Naija Housemate, Abiri Oluwabusayo, better known as Khloe, football star, Asisat Oshoala, tech entrepreneurs Hansel and Germain Ndu Okeke, and business innovator Blessing Joel Abeng.

Forbes is an American business magazine owned by Integrated Whale Media Investments and the Forbes family, with a particular focus on business, technology, communications, science, politics, and law.

Expressing excitement over the latest achievement, Khole penned an appreciation post on her Instagram page.

She wrote: “Words cannot express the sheer pride and joy I, Oluwabusayo Abiri, feel as I announce that I have been named one of Forbes’ 30 under 30 honorees!

“As a proud Nigerian, this prestigious recognition is a testament to the countless hours of hard work, perseverance, and passion I have poured into my career.

“Being included in this esteemed group of young achievers is a true honour that I will cherish for the rest of my life. To be recognized among such an incredible and talented group of individuals is genuinely humbling, and it inspires me to continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in my field.

“I want to express my deepest gratitude to Forbes for this incredible recognition and to those who have supported me on this journey.
To my mentors, colleagues, friends, and family – thank you for believing in me, pushing me to be my best, and standing by my side through thick and thin.
