Nigerian media personality, Daddy Freeze and Nollywood actress, Mary Njoku has slammed actress, Uche Ogbodo, for defending a rape accuser.

Naija News reports that a man identified as Richard Osita had last weekend shared a video of his estranged friend, Bella Nwoko apologizing for falsely accusing him of rape in 2021.

Earlier today (Wednesday), Osita took to his Instagram story to lambast the Nigerian Police for not taking his petition against his blackmailer, Bella, seriously.

Despite the apology, Osita said he was at the police station to complain against Bella but the officers did not take him seriously because it was a female-on-male crime.

Commenting on the issue, Uche Ogbodo berated Osita for being vindictive and adamant about persecuting his former friend despite her public apology.

According to her, the lady only threatened to accuse the man of rape and didn’t do it, therefore, Osita has no case.

The thespian also tackled Osita for making derogatory comments about the Nigerian Police force.

She wrote: “Richard you need to Relax with your Vindictive approach! She threatened to accuse you but she never did and turned around to apologize for it. Forgive her then and move on!

“Let us stop pushing wicked and mean people to actually ruin people’s lives all in the name of “ I am Right “ see how you are even Abusing the Police Force!

“What manner of Person is this guy . You want her to Pay for what? For not carrying out a threat yet? Nah you even carry am come Social media come announce am . Abeg Shift Richard”

Replying to the comment, her colleague, Mary Njoku, disagreed with Uche, saying the lady must face the consequence as such false accusations can destroy someone’s life, career, and reputation.

She wrote: “Na lie! She must face the consequences. False rape accusation can destroy someone’s life, career, and reputation forever!!! () Anytime you search for his name, rape could be mentioned. And his crime was ‘not being interested in her’. She needs to be jailed.”

Similarly, Daddy Freeze wrote: “My sister if na rape dem rape woman and she wants justice would you say the same thing? Just asking.”
