Ondo State Gets Acting Governor As Akeredolu Takes Leave

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has begun his 15-working day vacation as first instalment of his 2023 Annual Leave.

Naija News reports that Akeredolu made this known in a letter transmitted to House of Assembly and addressed to Speaker Bamidele Oleyelogun.

The letter stated that the annual leave would commence from Monday, April 3, 2023, adding that the leave would terminate on April 25th 2023.

He said the Deputy Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, would perform the functions of the office of the Governor during the period of the vacation.

The Governor said he would resume for duties on Wednesday, 26th April, 2023.
