Potter's Possible Replacement At Chelsea Revealed

English Premier League side, Chelsea is reportedly planning to interview at least five potential candidates for the club’s managerial job.

The likes of former Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann and former Paris Saint-Germain boss Mauricio Pochettino; Napoli’s Luciano Spalletti, former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique, and at least one more candidate are all up for possible appointment as Chelsea’s new manager.

Chelsea had made former Brighton midfielder Bruno Saltor, a temporary replacement for Potter while the club hierarchy is reportedly willing to wait until the end of the 2022/23 season to appoint the club’s new permanent head coach.

According to Daily Telegraph, the coaches listed would be interviewed ahead of next season.

The report added that Chelsea sporting directors, Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart, who have been put in charge of the recruitment process, will interview the coaches mentioned before time.

Meanwhile, Irish professional football coach, Brendan Rodgers, has been sacked as manager of Leicester City.

The English Premier League club confirmed this on Sunday in a post on its Twitter page, saying the club has reached a mutual agreement with Rodgers to leave the Club after four years as its Men’s First Team Manager.

“Assistant Manager Chris Davies and First Team Fitness Coach Glen Driscoll will also be leaving with the Club’s thanks and best wishes for their future careers.

“Immediate responsibility for Men’s First Team training and match preparation will be led by the Club’s long-serving First Team Coaches Adam Sadler and Mike Stowell.”
