VIDEO: Charly Boy Survives Prostate Cancer, Shares Experience

Veteran Nigerian entertainer, Chukwuemeka Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has shared his experience of surviving prostrate cancer.

Naija News reports that the political activist via his Instagram page on Saturday said he has been battling with the ailment for over ten days.

The singer stated he has fought many battles in life, however, surviving prostate cancer is the greatest favour God has done for him.

He further expressed appreciation to God for sparing his life and the Nigerian doctor who had performed the surgery on him.

He captioned the video: “Gosh, I have fought one too many battles in my short life. Most of the times, I win. Prostate cancer cannot cripple love, it cannot shatter hope, it cannot conquer dis spirit.

“Abegi make una help me Thank God for giving me yet another chance.”

Charly Boy Reacts To Claims That Igbos Will Take Over Lagos

Meanwhile, Charly Boy recently reacted to claims making the rounds that Igbos will take over Lagos.

Naija News reports that in the wake of the gubernatorial election, some politicians in the State have alleged that Igbos plan to take over Lagos through the Labour Party (LP) candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour.

Reacting via social media, Charly Boy described the claims as ‘silly propaganda’ and that people should stop spreading it.

He questioned the means by which Igbos will chase the Yorubas out of the state or forcefully take over their lands and businesses.
