Basketmouth React To AY’s Revelation On 17-Year Beef (Video)

Nigerian ace comedian, Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth, has responded to his colleague, AY, over the revelation about their 17-year beef.

Naija News reported that AY in a recent interview said the longtime feud was due to a business transaction that went wrong.

According to AY, trouble started after Basketmouth requested him to perform at a show on his behalf and he refused to remit the agreed N30,000 payment.

AY said he reached out to the organizer who confirmed he had made payment before the show and he went ahead to share the feedback with his colleague which generated a fight.

The comedian cum filmmaker admitted he used the wrong approach in recovering his money from Basketmouth but didn’t attempt to get at him.

However, Basketmouth, during his ‘Unprovoked’ tour in Europe on Friday, March 31, was questioned by the audience to comment on the 30K payment saga.

Responding, Basketmouth, said he has decided to stay quiet on the issue and didn’t want AY to hear anything from him again.

He said: “To be honest, I would love to talk about it, but the truth is some people will record it, and people would say I responded. But to be honest I don’t want Ay to ever hear from me again”
