Gov Aminu Masari Reveals What Tinubu Needs To Succeed 

The Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari has revealed what the President-elect, Bola Tinubu needs to succeed in his administration.

According to him, the president-elect need a lot of prayers from Nigerians in other for him to be successful in the running of his government.

The governor as gathered by Naija News made the pronouncement during a special breaking of fast and prayer session organised on Wednesday at the Government House in Katsina.

Masari observed that Tinubu used to organise such prayer sessions every year during Ramadan, but this year’s session is to thank God for a successful election.

The governor stated that “This year’s session is specially organised to thank the Almighty God for our success during the recent general elections in the country.

“There is nothing we can do except to thank God for the success recorded in Katsina and Nigeria in general.

“This is the main reason why we are here together with religious, traditional leaders, government officials and other stakeholders.

“He is now to be the new president, hence he needs more prayers. Thank God people have understood that after electing leaders, prayers must be the next.“

It would be recalled that the  Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had on March 1 declared Tinubu the winner of the February 25 presidential election.

The APC presidential candidate polled 8,794,726 votes to defeat the PDP candidate, Atiku Abubakar, who got 6,984,520 votes and the Labour Party’s Peter Obi that had 6,101,533 votes.
