Wike Speaks On Relationship With Tinubu, Peter Obi

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State on Monday said he has a cordial relationship with the President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The controversial governor disclosed this on Monday in an interview with Channels Television, monitored by Naija News.

Wike also stated that he has a good relationship with the former Governor of Anambra State and the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi.

According to the governor, he supported the choice of Obi as the former Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2019.

Wike added that he also provided logistic support for the LP flagbearer during his presidential campaign in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital.

He, however, said he is happy that one of two presidential candidates from the Southern part of the country emerged as the president-elect.
