The spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo has reacted following the petition of Peter Obi of Labour Party asking the tribunal to void Bola Tinubu’s emergence as President-elect over his alleged drug trafficking case.

This comes after Obi on Tuesday filed his petition to challenge the victory of Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 25 February election.

In his petition, Obi alleged that the election was characterized by various irregularities, including the non-qualification of the APC candidate.

According to him, Tinubu’s forfeiture of his funds to the US government over drug trafficking allegation is an indication that the former Lagos State governor committed infractions that should disqualify him from running for an election in Nigeria.

He also urged the tribunal to determine that, at the time of the presidential election, Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima, were not qualified to contest the election.

But reacting to the petitions, the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, via his Twitter handle on Wednesday, noted that the lies and disinformation about his principal were about to be busted by the Law Lords of the country.

He added that whoever continues to argue after that should relocate.

His tweets reads: “I am excited about the issues raised in those Election Petitions. All the deceit & lies & disinformation & misinformation about otherwise very simple and clear issues are about to be busted by our Law Lords. Whoever continues to argue after that should relocate to another planet.

“Nigerians will finally see the huge difference b/w calm, dispassionate adjudication of issues & all the hoopla caused by garrulous spokespersons shaking & falling on stage, ignorant TV hosts turned debaters, misinformed documentaries, illiterate tweeps & some dancing Hijabi mamas.”
