After Labour Party Won Abia State, Kenneth Okonkwo Sends Message To INEC Over Enugu Election Result
The spokesperson for the Obi-Datti presidential campaign organization, Kenneth Okonkwo has urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to declare the Enugu governorship election result in favour of the Labour Party (LP).
Okonkwo made the call in a statement on Wednesday after INEC declared the Abia State governorship election result in favour of the Labour Party candidate, Alex Otti.
According to the actor cum politician, the same issue which affected Abia State also happened to Enugu state and since Abia was eventually decided in favour of the Labour Party, Enugu should also be decided in favour of the party.
He urged INEC not to reduce Nigeria to an animal farm where anything goes.
“Abia and Enugu States had identical problems. There was over-voting in Obingwa and Nkanu East respectively, and consequently, the results were suspended. Abia has been declared in favour of Labour Party, so Enugu State must also be declared in favour of Labour Party.
“INEC must not reduce Nigeria to an animal farm where anything goes. Injustice in Enugu will not be tolerated.
“We shall overcome,” he said.
