#NigeriaDecides2023: Sokoto APC Leads In 10 LGAs With 21,200 Votes

The Sokoto State chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC) is leading in ten out of the twenty-three local governments area of the state in the governorship election with a margin of 21,200 votes.

Naija News gathered that from the results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) at its collation centre in Sokoto on Sunday, the APC has gotten 154,631 against the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) which scored a total number of 133,431votes so far.

A breakdown of the results reveals that the APC has won in eight local governments area of the state which include Binji, Wurno, Yabo, Gwadabawa, Rabbah, Bodinga, Tangaza and Kware local governments area.

While the ruling PDP in the state has led in two local governments of the ten declared so far which includes Tureta and Isa local government area.

The collation of the results is however currently suspended by the acting Resident Electoral Commissioner, Barrister Hauwa Kangiwa.
