Nasarawa Speaker, Abdullahi Re-elected For Third Term

The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Alhaji Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, has been declared the winner of the Ugya/Umaisha state constituency election.

Naija News reports that Abdullahi of the All Progressives Congress (APC)is elected to represent the people of Ugya/Umaisha state constituency for a third term.

The Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) returning Officer for the election, Abdullahi Hudu Ramalan, made this known at the collation center.

He said the APC candidate polled 3,406 votes to defeat his closest rival, Abdullahi Ibrahim Sa’ad of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) who got 2, 850 votes, while NNPP got 78 votes.
