Yobe: Gov Buni Signs Two Bills Into Law

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni has been re-elected.

Buni on Sunday was announced as the winner after winning in all the seventeen local government areas of the state.

The APC candidate polled a total of 317,113 votes, while the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Sharif Abdulahi, came second with a total vote of 104,259

The Returning Officer for the governorship election in the state and Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Kashere, Gombe State, Umar Pate while announcing the results said accredited voters are 459,492, valid votes 444,567 and total votes cast are 457,781.
