Fani-Kayode Sends Message To Israel Over Deadly Palestinan Attacks

A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has condemned the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.

Naija News reported that the ICC, on Friday, issued a warrant of arrest for Putin over the unlawful deportation of children from Ukraine to Russia.

The ICC in a statement released on Friday said the warrant became necessary following the applications submitted by the prosecution on February 22, 2023.

According to the court based in the Netherlands, Putin bears individual criminal responsibility for the crimes committed in Ukrainian territory from February 24, 2022.

It added that Putin had failed to “exercise control properly over civilian and military subordinates who committed the acts, or allowed for their commission, and who was under his effective authority and control.”

The ICC said, Maria Alekseyevna Lvova-Belova, Putin’s presidential commissioner for children’s rights, is also alleged to have committed similar crimes.

In a lengthy post on Friday, Fan-Kayode said ICC cannot issue an arrest warrant for Putin because Russia is not a signatory to the treaty that established the court and is therefore not subject to its jurisdiction.

He also asked the ICC to issue arrest warrants for Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Tony Blair, Nicholas Sarkozy, Boris Johnson, Emmanuel Macron, John Major, Theresa May, David Cameron, and other Western leaders.

The former minister claimed that the listed leaders above have innocent blood on their hands for their horrendous crimes against humanity throughout the world over the last 30 years.

Fani-Kayode said the ICC has set a precedent that it will deeply regret and has also gone beyond its brief and rubbished itself.

He also alleged that the ICC is a tool in the hands of Western Europeans and Americans and only administers only selective justice to selected people

He wrote: “Permit me to share the following which is my PERSONAL opinion.

“If you insist on issuing an arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin even though Russia is not a signatory to the treaty that established the ICC and is therefore not subject to its jurisdiction, kindly tell me when you will issue one for Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Tony Blair, Nicholas Sarkozy, Boris Johnson, Emmanuel Macron, John Major, Theresa May, David Cameron and other Western leaders with innocent blood on their hands for their horrendous crimes against humanity throughout the world over the last 30 years.

“The ICC has set a precedent today which they will come to deeply regret. They have also gone beyond their brief and rubbished themselves.

“The truth is that Russia and Putin are bones that are far too big for them to chew and that will likely get stuck in their throats and eventually choke and kill them.

“Since inception, this so-called court, which administers only selective justice to selected people, has been used against weaker countries and the leaders of developing nations that are on the wrong side of the globalists of the West alone.

“They are nothing but a tool in the hands of the Western Europeans and Americans.

“They never move against their American and Western European pay masters even though those paymasters have committed more crimes against humanity and more war crimes than the rest of the world put together.

“One thing I assure you, they will NEVER get Putin and the Russian Federation will NEVER be brought to her knees or defeated.

“Let justice be applied to all in equal measure and not just to some.”
