Omokri Clarifies Statement On Tinubu Attending Chicago State University

Former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri, seems to have pitched his tent with the Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, barely 24 hours before the March 18 gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections.

Naija News reports that Sanwo-olu, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party, and Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran of the Peoples Democratic Party and others will lock horns for the 7 million registered voters in the 37 Local Government Areas in Lagos State.

In a post via his Twitter, Omokri faulted the performance of the Labour Party, presidential candidate, Peter Obi during his eight years reign as Anambra State governor.

He listed world-class railways and solid roads as achievements of Sanwo-Olu and urged Lagosians to vote other parties other than LP.

He wrote: “Love him or hate him, Sanwoolu built world class railways and solid roads. What does Obi have to show for his 8 years in Anambra, other than a beer brewery that he has interest in? If you can’t vote PDP on Saturday, March 18, jejely vote any other party but Labour”.

In another post, Reno claimed that voting Rhodes-Vivour will seriously damage Lagos stressing he is not a viable candidate.

According to him, those promoting the LP candidate have an agenda that will not be conducive to the peace, progress, and unity of Lagos State.

He wrote: “Please do NOT vote for Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour. I listened to him, and I am convinced that electing him will seriously damage Lagos. By himself, he is not a viable candidate.

“But beyond him, those promoting him on a godfather level, and others promoting him as foot soldiers, have an agenda that will not be conducive for the peace, progress and unity of Lagos State. If you love me and what I stand for, reject him and what he and his godfathers stand for. You may now insult”
