Arsenal have started to count down to the 2022-2023 Premier League title win as they returned to their 5-point lead on the league table.

Arsenal were in action on Sunday against Fulham. The Premier League table-toppers smashed the in-form side 3-0 away from home.

Goals from Gabriel, Martinelli, and Ødegaard did the job for coach Mikel Arteta’s side at the Craven Cottage.

The 3-0 win has extended Arsenal’s points to a massive 66 points in 27 games, five huge points above second-placed Manchester City who currently have 61 points in 27 games.

As it stands, Manchester City and Arsenal both have 11 games each to play before the season ends.

Before City can overtake Arsenal, coach Pep Guardiola and his boys must win all their remaining eleven games and pray that Arteta’s boys suffer at least two defeats before the season ends.

While City are racking their brains over that, Arsenal have started counting down to the end of the season already.

After their 3-0 win over Fulham on Sunday, the entire team members posed with a giant clock which is seen as a cryptic message that it is Arsenal’s time to lift the Premier League title.

On the clock, the long hand was on 11 which signifies that the team has just eleven games to play to be crowned the 2022-2023 Premier League champions.

Note that Arsenal have won the First Division/Premier League title 13 times in their history. The last time they won the league title was in the 2003-2004 season. This means that the last time the Gunners won the league was almost 20 years ago.
