Shehu Sani Reacts As Tinubu Meets UAE Leadership Over Visa Ban, Others

A former federal lawmaker, Shehu Sani has said that Northern politicians are now being nice and humble to the people because of the upcoming elections.

Sani opined that their change in attitude might be due to the lessons learnt from the February 25 presidential election.

Naija News recalls that during the presidential elections, Nigerians across the nation had come out en-masse to vote.

The youths, especially the Obidient movement, had trooped to their respective polling units to cast their votes, thereby showing politicians that are now prepared to make decisions about who leads them.

Sani, who was a former representative of Kaduna central Senatorial District in the Bukola Saraki-led 8th Assembly, noted that the turnout for the election has humbled arrogant politicians in the North.

He stated that the politicians are now reaching out to displace and traumatized victims and sharing foodstuffs to widows and orphans whom they ignored for years.

He tweeted, “Politicians are now being nice and humble.

“They are reaching out to the displaced and traumatised victims of terrorism, sharing foodstuffs and promising them heaven.

“The same widows and orphans they never visited for years. The voters are the kingmakers, if only they know.”
