A Nigerian on-air personality, Kayode Ojuolape Oladotun, popularly known as Do2dtun has spoken on the donation of transformers by the Lagos lawmaker representing the Surulere constituency at the State legislature, Desmond Elliot a few days before the election.

The former actor who is running for a third term as Lagos lawmaker had Thursday donated transformers to his constituency.

Elliot announced the development during a pot on Facebook while commissioning the transformers.

Desmond said he had commissioned the instalment of high-capacity transformers in Surulere.

I am excited to announce that new high-capacity transformers have been installed in Surulere, bringing reliable electricity to communities that have long needed it,” he said.

Reacting via tweet, Do2dtun argued that the lawmaker made the donation because he needs his Constituency votes.

He wondered the reason who has been unable to purchase power banks for his community now decided to buy the right transformers a few days before the election.

Naija News recalls that Desmond had once again apologized to Nigerian youths over his statement during the ENDSARS protest.

The politician stated that the hatred he has faced after allegedly referring to Nigerian youths as children were unbearable while also adding that his words were taken out of context.
