Political activist, Rinu Oduala, has reacted to the letter of Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to Eti-Osa residents, soliciting support ahead of the state gubernatorial election, on Saturday.

Naija News earlier reported that in a letter issued on Monday, Sanwo-Olu pleaded with the people to join hands with him in order to complete the laudable projects he started in the axis in his first term.

While calling on the residents to vote for him in Saturday’s election, Sanwo-Olu said his second term bid will enable the completion of numerous projects that will benefit the people and yield massive dividends for everyone in Lagos State in the years and decades ahead.

According to the governor, his administration has left no stone unturned in the quest to positively transform the fortunes of Lagos State.

He noted that regardless of how the presidential elections turned out, everyone should be united, as Lagosians, by the compelling dream of a Greater Lagos.

Sanwo-Olu also promised to continue to serve the residents with seriousness, and diligence and to continue the journey towards a Lagos that is the most dynamic and prosperous state in the country.

He added that his administration has attracted billions of dollars into major infrastructure and manufacturing projects in the state, including the newly commissioned Lekki Deep Sea Port, which will create tens of thousands of jobs and uplift the economy of Lekki.

Rinu Reacts

In a post via Twitter, Rinu made a mockery of the governor over the epistle, saying the pressure from other candidates has forced him to solicit votes.

She further questioned when Sanwo-Olu turned to Paul in the bible, known for writing letters to Christians.

She wrote: “In case you think I’m kidding, pressure ti was I just saw a long letter from SanwoOlu to Eti-Osa residents. Abeg, when did SanwoOlu turn to Paul in the Bible?”
