UAE Visa Ban: Omo-Agege Reacts As Nigerians Jubilate Over Tinubu’s New Deal

Reports from the Delta States reveal that support groups of the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi have declared support for the All Progressive Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the state, Ovie Omo-Agege.

Naija News reports that the development comes barely six days before the March 11 governorship polls.

According to the Lead coordinator of the coalition from Delta central, Ochuko Edafe, Omo-Agege candidate is the most credible among all those on the ballot for the governorship election.

Edafe told pressmen in Asaba that members of the Obidient Movement were not card-carrying members of the Labour Party, but that they are driven by the credibility and character of individual candidates.

Hence their decision to support Omo-Agege because not only does he have a track record of performance as a federal legislator, his footprints are evident in the state.

Edafe advanced that “What we look out for is credible candidates across the board. And we have chosen to work with Ovie Omo-Agege, he is the most credible candidate in the race.

“We know everything happening in Delta State, we have suffered for too long, and we are going to maximise this opportunity.

“From 1999 till date, there has never been any senator that you will be proud of that brought dividends of democracy like Omo-Agege has done, his footprints are there, there is no community in Delta central without his presence.

“People are saying why not follow the LP candidate, but we have been able to explain that we joined the ‘Obidient’ movement because Obi is credible. That is why we have said the only credible governorship candidate is Omo-Agege.”
