Tinubu Sends Message To Adeboye Amidst Silence On Presidential Election Outcome

President-elect, Bola Tinubu, has sent a special birthday message to the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christain Church Of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.

This comes amidst the silence of the cleric over the outcome of the just concluded presidential election in the country.

Naija News reports that Adeboye, who is regarded as having the largest pentecostal church worldwide, clocked 81 years on Thursday, March 2, 2023.

The clergyman received congratulatory messages from many world leaders and Pastors including President Muhammadu Buhari.

Also, the former Lagos State governor through his media adviser, Tunde Rahman issued a statement, praised Adeboye on the new age.

Tinubu noted that Adeboye has been a tremendous blessing to Nigeria, Africa, and the world with his ministerial work as a preacher and leader.

He recalled their relationship since his time as governor and how the annual Lagos State Thanksgiving Service started then.

According to Tinubu, the renowned clergy has been an exemplary model whose teachings and counsel have continued to moderate and stabilize the country.

The President-elect wished the clergyman many glorious years in the service of God and the unfailing service to humanity.

Buhari Sends Birthday Message To Pastor Adeboye

Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari while rejoicing with the revered clergyman, recalled and appreciated his visits and prayers during the time he was sick and recuperating.

Buhari also appreciated Pastor Adeboye for his wise counsel and positive influence while praying for God’s blessings upon his life and family.

The statement by Buhari on Thursday which was signed by his spokesperson, Femi Adesina reads: “President Muhammadu Buhari joins leaders and members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in celebrating the General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, on his 81st birthday, rejoicing with the religious leader, who left his academic career to fully commit to serving the Lord.
