Tinubu Reveals Plan On How To Lead Nigeria In Next Four Years
The President-elect, Bola Tinubu, has shared an insight into how his administration will lead the country in the next four years.
Naija News reports that Tinubu said he was ready to listen and take a difficult route in ensuring Nigerians see better days and the country of their dreams.
Tinubu made this known on Wednesday at the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council headquarters in Abuja.
Speaking further, the APC leader assured Nigerians that he would be the chief servant and not a leader, and promised to work with the citizens and make Nigeria a great country.
He said: “I will serve you; be your servant and not your leader. I will work with you and make Nigeria a great country.
“Finally, I thank the Nigerian people for their abiding belief in our democracy. I shall be a fair leader to all Nigerians. I will be in tune with your aspirations, charge up your energies and harness your talents to deliver a nation that we can be proud of.”
Recall that the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Mahmood Yakubu, had declared Tinubu as the president-elect.
Yakubu declared Tinubu as the president-elect in the early hours of Wednesday after he polled 8,794,726 votes from the 24,025, 940 total valid votes cast.
The INEC boss said Tinubu’s closest challenger, Atiku, polled 6,984, 520 votes, while Obi of the Labour Party garnered 6,101,533; and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) scored 1,496,687.
