Ifeanyi Ubah Retains Anambra South Senatorial Seat

The senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District, Ifeanyi Ubah, has retained his seat in the National Assembly.

According to the results released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the Young Progressives Party (YPP) candidate polled 73,115 votes to win the election.

Ubah defeated Chris Azugbogu of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) who scored 45,369, votes, While Uzo Obinna of the Labour Party (LP) got 28,102 votes to come third.

Atiku Wins Presidential Election In Adamawa

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has won in his home state of Adamawa.

Naija News reports that Atiku won in 20 out of the 21 local government areas in the state to defeat his rivals, Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP).

Announcing the election results at the state collation centre in Yola on Monday, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) state collation officer, Professor Muhammad Laminu Mele, said Atiku scored 417,000 votes.

Tinubu, scored 182,881 votes, while Peter Obi got 105,648 votes and the News Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso scored 8,006 votes.
