Mr. Macaroni Reacts As Peter Obi Defeats Tinubu In Lagos

In another post earlier, Mr Macaroni reacted to the victory of the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, in Lagos State.

Naija News reports that Obi’s victory over his All Progressives Congress (APC) counterpart, Bola Tinubu, has continued to generate reactions across boards.

As earlier reported by this news platform, the Labour Party presidential candidate defeated Tinubu in Lagos State according to the official results announced on Monday by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Although Tinubu won more local government areas, the former governor of Anambra State defeated him with the majority of the votes cast.

All the results of the 20 local governments have been declared with Tinubu winning in 11 while Peter Obi won in nine local governments.

With the results declared, Obi polled 582,664 while Tinubu scored 541,850. Reacting to the development, Mr Macaroni said it is evidence that power remains with the people.

He also mocked those who described the labour party as an internet and structureless party.

Taking to his Twitter account on Monday, he wrote: “Despite all the violence and intimidation unleashed in Lagos, Peter Obi has won Lagos State!!! The margin should be way more!!! I just want the people to know that the power is in our hands!!!

“They said no structure!! They said it is internet noise!!!
