#NigeriaDecides2023: Falz Recounts Attack, Blasts APC Over Use Of Thugs

Nigerian singer, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, the bad guy, has broken the silence on the use of political thugs to attack him during Saturday’s election.

The rapper also questioned the use of political thugs by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to disrupt the election when they had claimed the Labour Party had no structure.

Naija News earlier reported that Falz was attacked, during the 2023 presidential election with his phone stolen by alleged APC political thugs at his polling unit in Lekki, Lagos State.

In a video shared online, Falz recounts how the political thugs stormed the voting centre and started destroying ballot boxes and snatching phones before the military arrived at the scene.

He further slammed APC saying they have all the structure regarding politics yet they sent thugs after supporters of LP.

He said: ”the thugs came at about 11:50 am and began snatching phones and beating people. They destroyed a couple of ballot boxes before the military eventually arrived. My phone recovered. Thank you all for the calls.”

“I have a question. Shebi, they said ‘structure, structure, structure’. They have all the structure in the world regarding political stuff. What then happened? Why then did you send your thugs?”

”Despite the violence, Labour Party won the presidential votes with 108 votes, APC got 31, and PDP got 2 in my polling unit”
