#NigeriaDecides2023: Falz Attacked At Polling Unit In Lagos

Nigerian singer cum activist, Folarin Falana was attacked by thugs at his polling unit during the ongoing 2023 presidential election in Nigeria.

Taking to social media, a director simply called Bello, confirmed that the singer was attacked with his phone stolen after his polling unit was attacked by some political thugs.

Director via the microblogging platform wrote: Falz and other voters have just been attacked and his phone has been stolen at ikate lekkie, 

“The ballot papers are being torn apart and scattered by the area boys there, they saw the support for Labour Party and couldn’t take it!! 

“Emergency services needed right away!!! Update: Voters that live close by have gone back into their homes for safety, they are still seizing people’s phones.”

In another update, Bello wrote: “Falz’s phone hasn’t been returned after being collected by these thugs. Current situation at ikate lekki, voters are being scared back to their homes, this cannot be condoned!! 

“My friend just called me right now crying out of fear for these people, the security and police at ikate must intervene quickly please.” 

Taking to social media, Falz, confirmed he’s fine and his phone being returned, but added that he is still waiting to vote.
