#NigeriaDecides: Kebbi Governor Votes After Four Hours Delay

The Governor of Kebbi state, Atiku Bagudu, cast his vote four hours behind schedule due to the late arrival of election materials.

According to reports, Atiku Bagudu cast his vote at his polling unit, Garkar Mai-Alelu, Nasarawa 11, Birnin Kebbi around 1 pm.

Despite the delays, the All Progressives Congress chieftain said he was satisfied with the peaceful conduct of the voting process and the large turnout of voters for the Presidential and National Assembly elections.

He commended voters for their good conduct during the election and the security personnel for their excellent work in keeping things calm.

The governor pointed out that the improvements made by INEC had also improved the efficiency of the test.

He said, “I am aware of the general complaint in Kebbi State about the late arrival of election materials to some polling units which delayed the commencement of the voting.”
