NigeriaDecides: INEC Frustrate Voters In Polling Unit 025, Kubwa

Some voters were frustrated by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, at Polling Unit 025, Liberty Junction, Kubwa, the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja over lack of ink, which delayed the voting process.

Naija News learnt that accreditations started early but voting was temporarily halted due to lack of ink.

The development led to the voters volunteering their pens to draw the inks so that voting will continue.

After about 30 minutes of waiting, one of the INEC Officials arrived with ink which brought excitement to the electorate waiting to vote.

Voting Begins In Bauchi

Bauchi recorded a high turnout of voters as voting commenced at Boi Polling Unit 005, in Bogoro Local Government Area of the state

Voting and accreditation commenced at about 8:30 am in most polling units across the area amidst the heavy presence of security personnel.

In Toro, Darazo, Ningi, Shira, Katagum, and Zaki LGAs the exercise also recorded a large turnout of voters in most polling units.

At Pada Unit 03 in the Tilde Fulani area of Toro, election officers commenced accreditation of voters who waited in an orderly manner in queues.

Also, there was a high turnout of women voters at Tsangaya Kurmi Unit 002 in Darazo and Vocational Training Center 001 in Ganjuwa where the voting process was being conducted smoothly with hitches.
